Blue Arc Metal Specialties Expansion Builds on Claremore’s Legacy of Industrial Growth

For more than 50 years, Claremore’s industrial growth has been shaped by companies committed to building, expanding and creating opportunity. Following more than $100 million in capital investment and more than 660 new jobs announced by Claremore Economic Development and its industrial partners in 2025, that momentum continues in 2026 as Blue Arc Metal Specialties advances its next phase of growth in the Claremore Industrial Park.

Blue Arc Metal Specialties, a locally owned, family-operated manufacturer, has been awarded $200,000 through the Oklahoma Business Expansion Innovation Program. This performance-based investment will support the development of more than 60,000 additional square feet of manufacturing space at the company’s Claremore Industrial Park campus. The expansion represents more than $5 million in capital investment and is anticipated to create more than 40 quality jobs.

Founded in 1998 by Michael O’Dell, Blue Arc has grown from a local fabrication operation into a trusted precision welding and metal fabrication company serving the aviation and energy industries. The company’s 2023 expansion within the Claremore Industrial Park marked a significant step in that growth, creating room to serve increasing customer demand, expand production capacity, and support long-term workforce development.
