Baker Hughes has, and continues to be, a strong community partner in both Claremore and across our great state. Historically, the City of Claremore has closely partnered with Baker Hughes, providing key infrastructure improvements such as a dedicated substation, to ensure they had the tools necessary to find success in our region. Since that time, we have seen Baker Hughes continually reinvest in our community and are incredibly grateful for their partnership. With this announcement comes the potential for future facility expansion and equipment purchase, increasing the area’s ad valorem dollars and providing our schools much needed additional revenue.

Since 1948, the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority has remained dedicated to aiding our regional employers and ensuring their prosperity. Baker Hughes is a true testament to the success a business can find operating in Oklahoma. They have been a true partner in our organization’s economic development efforts and CIEDA remains committed to assisting Baker Hughes as they begin this next chapter. We will be closely partnering with the company on their recruitment efforts, and look forward to introducing the many exciting things Claremore and northeast Oklahoma have to offer.

Please attribute to Commissioner Ron Burrows, Rogers County District 3:

Rogers County continues to be the state’s second fastest growing county. We know much of this is attributed to the continued development of the area’s thriving manufacturing sector. We are excited to see our county’s businesses prosper, and look forward to our continued partnership with the City of Claremore and the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority to ensure the success of Baker Hughes and our region’s other manufacturing entities.

Please attribute to Commissioner Dan DeLozier, Rogers County District 1:

In economic development, roughly 85 percent of job growth comes from existing industry. We have been blessed to see many of our county’s manufacturing entities thrive and add significant investment to our region. Baker Hughes has been a true partner and we are blessed to have them as a pillar of our community and district. Rogers County is dedicated to sustaining a pro-business environment that supports the efforts of Baker Hughes and our region’s business partners.
