CIEDA Hosts Tulsa’s Future Regional Partners

Northeast Oklahoma economic development professionals and community leaders stand outside the Will Rogers Theatre at the Will Rogers Memorial as part of the Tulsa's Future Regional Partnership.
More than 50 economic development professionals and community leaders from 28 communities across northeast Oklahoma gathered at the Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore, Okla. as part of the Tulsa's Future Regional Partnership on Monday, February 9th.
The group was hosted by the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority (CIEDA) and introduced to many exciting recent expansions in Claremore.
CIEDA Chairman Phil Albert and Trustee Keith Ballard were recognized by Tulsa Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mike Neal for their ongoing dedication to developing strong partnerships between Claremore and Tulsa.
Jeri Koehler, CIEDA Executive Director shared an update from the 2014 CIEDA Annual Report including the completion of the $60+ million Baker Hughes Artifical Lift Technology Center expansion, AXH Air-coolers $14 million expansion, and the nearly $34 million increase from 2013 to 2014 in combined industrial, commercial, and residential building permits.
Claremore City Manager Jim Thomas showcased the State of the City address displaying the developmental benefits of the strong relationship that exists between the City of Claremore and CIEDA.
