Aldi selects Claremore as home for new retail location

Have you noticed the dirt moving off Country Club Road in the Claremore Plaza? After much rumor and speculation, CIEDA, in partnership with the City of Claremore, is excited to formally announce that Aldi is coming to Claremore.
Over the past 15 months, the City of Claremore Government Planning Department has worked closely with the retailer to finalize its expansion into our community. The new location can be found at 1584 W Country Road and is anticipated to open later this year. 
"Aldi's selection of Claremore as a home for a new location showcases our community's ability to attract quality retailers, even during this time of economic disruption," said CIEDA Interim Executive Director, Meggie Froman-Knight "We are confident that this announcement will serve as a catalyst for future economic growth in Rogers County, and look forward to partnering with Aldi to ensure their longterm business success in Claremore."
"We are excited to welcome Aldi into our growing community and market," said John Feary, Claremore City Manager. "An Aldi's grocery location has been a long-term request from Claremore residents. At a time when easy access to affordable fresh food and household essentials is invaluable, we are thrilled for the opportunity to offer an additional shopping option for our community. The Aldi's announcement is just the first of what I hope to be many for Claremore this year."
