Claremore Regional Airport

Claremore Regional Airport (KGCM) proudly welcomes Colby Linder as the facility's new Airport Operations Manager. Linder will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing strategies for growth, infrastructure improvements and ensuring the airport's financial sustainability. Additionally, Linder will oversee the day-to-day management of personnel and operations and ensure compliance with FAA, DOT, ODAA, Oklahoma, Rogers County, and City of Claremore regulations.

A proud Oklahoma State University alumnus, Linder’s unwavering passion for the aerospace industry propelled him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Administration and Operations. Prior to joining the team at the Claremore Regional Airport, Linder served on staff at both the Stillwater Regional Airport and the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust, where he gained valuable experience in airport security, tenant relations, wildlife mitigation and maintaining various compliance standards. Most recently, he served in customer service, sales, and part inspection for Quality Aircraft Accessories, where he was responsible for office management, customer communications, purchase orders and quality control.

"We are excited to welcome Colby to Claremore Regional Airport," said Meggie Froman-Knight, Executive Director of Claremore Economic Development, the organization responsible for overseeing airport operations. "His experience in tenant relations and customer service will be particularly valuable as we continue to serve a diverse range of aviators, including private aircraft owners, commercial operations, and aviation support-related businesses, as well as regional and transient customers."

Established in the early 1990s, Claremore Regional Airport (KGCM) is home to 43 hangar buildings and 90 base aircraft, averaging approximately 12,700 operations annually.

"I am thrilled to join the Claremore Regional Airport team, and contribute to its success,” said Linder. "I am eager to immerse myself in the local community and carry out a legacy of excellence enhancing KGCM as it grows into its future."

Linder formally began his role at the airport on April 15, 2024. The community is invited to welcome Colby at a Meet & Greet event, hosted at the Claremore Regional Airport on Saturday, April 27 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
