Non-profit organizations from across the region are joining together to host the sixth Reboot Rebuild Rogers County event. This free workplace readiness expo provides job seekers with access to various resources, including potential employers, help agencies, and methods of continuing education.

Reboot Rebuild Rogers County will be held on Thursday, August 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cedar Point Church. The event is free and open to the public, with an emphasis on second-chance employment.

“The goal of Reboot Rebuild is to provide opportunities and resources for those individuals looking to begin a new chapter,” said Meggie Froman-Knight, Executive Director for the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority. “The obstacles people face far too often keep them stuck in the same habitual cycle. We hope to create a different way for people to move forward and integrate back into society, resulting in broken family cycles, altering life trajectories and fostering a safer, more productive community.”

A key staple of the Reboot Rebuild event is the opportunity for attendees to meet face-to-face with prospective employers to discuss job opportunities and participate in on-site interviews.

“Access to a robust talent pool continues to be a top need for area employers,” said Caitlyn Ngare, Talent Development Coordinator, CIEDA. “We are proud to serve as a partner for Reboot Rebuild Rogers County and are confident this event will mirror the success of last week’s job fair, which saw over 125 quality applicants.”

Employers interested in participating can register at https://bitly.is/3ykn6GJ. The first 20 vendors to sign-up have the opportunity to present their job openings on-stage.
